Webinar DORA - Navigate the Digital Operations Resilience Act  for PE/VC Funds

The Digital Operations Resilience Act (DORA) will be applicable in all EU member states starting from 17th January 2025. This legislation is designed to strengthen the digital resilience of the financial sector. Investment companies are considered financial entities and therefore fall within the scope of this regulation. For a PE/VC  fund, this means that they must comply with a series of requirements, including the ICT risk management framework, ICT incident management, testing of digital operational resilience, management of third-party ICT risks, and sharing of information on cyber threats.

In this upcoming webinar, PwC will discuss the why, what, and how of the regulation. Key discussion points will include the criteria determining when PE/VC funds are subject to DORA, the scope limitations, and the specific requirements that apply to private equity entities. Additionally, we will delve into the business perspective, focusing on the key implications of DORA in a Deals context and its potential to strengthen business resilience.

Target audience

This webinar is specifically designed for PE/VC funds managing assets between €100 million and €1.2 billion, falling under DORA’s remit, particularly within a simplified risk management framework as outlined in paragraph 16. We extend our invitation to NVP members who meet this criterion. We strongly encourage legal counsels, CROs, CFOs, (Digital) directors with IT management responsibilities in their portfolio and Operations partners to join the webinar, given the significance of DORA.
