For entrepreneurs

Are you looking for growth capital or capital for the acquisition of a company or business unit? Private equity firms provide space for entrepreneurship and can add value at every stage of a company's life cycle.

Are you still not sure whether a private equity firm is the right choice? Then contact the Chamber of Commerce for an overview of all financing possibilities. The website of the Stichting MKB Financiering (SMF) (Foundation for SME Financing) also provides a useful test to determine which recognised alternative financing may match your needs.

Already familiar with private equity firms? Then consider using one of our affiliated corporate finance advisors. They are specialised organisations that help parties to raise capital.

The Regional Development Agencies are there to assist young start-ups with support and various forms of financing. They account for 50% of all venture capital investments in the Netherlands and are therefore very important in the financing chain. If the financing requirement is larger, Invest-NL is an interesting option. In addition, TechLeap has programmes to further help promising entrepreneurs and an extensive database of companies, accelerators and investors, the so-called Finder Tool.

Of course, you yourself may also approach parties on our members’ list or on the list of accredited parties of the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RvO) (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) Seed Capital Funds.

For further questions, you can also contact NVP directly.
