About this training
The VC Essentials gives you the insights, skills, and network to grow fast. The program has been a cornerstone for professionals in venture capital for years. What to expect
In just four days, you’ll dive into the full VC journey. A central case connects every step of the investment process, from sourcing and deal-making to portfolio management and value creation. 

Short sessions, strong content, and hands-on challenges. Every module is fast-paced and includes interactive elements designed to turn VC theory into practice. The program also offers plenty of opportunities to meet peers from across the VC sector in an informal setting. 
And next to the ‘hard skills’, you’ll also reflect on your professional skills and how it influences others, because great investors understand both the deal and the dynamics. 
You’ll close the program by presenting your group case to an investment committee of experienced industry leaders. They’ll provide direct, relevant feedback on your proposal, a perfect moment to put everything you’ve learned into practice

Who is it for?
The VC Essentials program is the starting point for every professionals in VC, whether you’re an Investment Manager, an emerging Fund Manager, or working in a related role. All NVP members and associate members are welcome to join.

Interesting next steps
After obtaining your Essentials certificate, there are several Advanced trainings you can follow. When you completed your Essentials course plus four Advanced certificates, you will become an NVP Certified Investment Professional. 

This course will initially be provided in English to cater for our industry professionals in international firms.
