NVP Essentials Venture Capital for ROMs

About this training
Essentials Venture Capital for ROMs is a dedicated program for professionals working within Regional Development Agencies (ROMs). It follows te same renewed and proven format as the VC Essentials, while being tailored to the challenges, cases and context unique to ROMs.

With all participants coming from ROMs, the program allows for deep dives into topics such as regional deal flow, public funding, governance, impact objectives and collaboration within local ecosystems

Beyond the content, there is a strong focus on networking. Participants will join a large networking drink with (associated) memers of the NVP network, offering valuable opportunities to connect beyond the ROM community.

What to expect?
Over four intensive days, you’ll experience the complete VC journey. A central case connects every stage of the investment process: from sourcing and dealmaking to portfolio management and value creation. Expect short sessions, powerful content, and hands-on assignments.
In addition, there is room to meet peers in an informal setting. Alongside the “hard skills,” you will also reflect on your professional skills and how these impact others. After all, good investors understand both the deal and the dynamics. The program concludes with a pitch to experienced industry leaders who provide direct and relevant feedback; the perfect moment to apply everything you have learned.
