NVP Essentials Venture Capital - Autumn

Contents
During the Venture Capital Essentials training you will go through the entire VC investment process. The training consists of thirteen modules. In these modules, together with experts from national and international VC funds, you will delve deeper into the topics that are discussed during the investment process. The training offers room for interaction and, if possible, we focus on practical examples as much as possible. The training also offers sufficient opportunities to meet colleagues in an informal manner who, just like you, work within the Venture Capital sector.

Next to the ‘hard-skills’ you need in your work, you will develop yourself as a professional through intervision. Through practical cases you evaluate how you behave and what impact this has on the people around you. In the Essentials you do not only learn all about the industry, but you can also reflect on the influence of your behavior. Next to this you will build a fantastic network within the industry. 

The speakers are of the highest quality and specialists in their field of work. As a member or associated member of the NVP they know exactly what you need as a participant to do your job in the best possible way. 

At the end of the program, you will present a group-case to the investment committee. These are experienced professionals in the industry, whom will give you relevant feedback on the investment proposal and where you can bring all you learned into practice!

For whom?
The NVP Essentials Venture Capital is the basis for everyone who works within Venture Capital. At least for Investment Managers, but also for starting fund managers. All NVP members or associated members are welcome in this course.

After obtaining your Essentials certificate, there are several Advanced trainings you can follow. When you completed your Essentials course plus four Advanced certificates, you will become an NVP Certified Professional. 

This course will initially be provided in English to cater for our industry professionals in international firms.
