About this training 

VC Board in One Day is a high-impact, no-nonsense training for professionals stepping into their first VC board role. 

The program is organized by Newion and the NVP Academy, in close collaboration with experienced NVP members, bringing together hands-on expertise from across the VC ecosystem. 

In one intensive day, you will go through the first 24 months after an investment. It is a critical journey in which you move from onboarding to influence, from understanding to adding real value. 

You’ll learn what truly matters through real cases, dilemmas, and boardroom dynamics that unfold across this period, guided by people who’ve been there. 

The focus is simple: what do you need to know, how do you show up, and how do you make yourself valuable from day one?

Program 

The program is structured around four clear blocks, guiding you through the day step by step. Each block focuses on a key aspect of effective VC board membership, combining practical insights with real-world application. The day includes a networking lunch, allowing participants to connect with peers and speakers. We will conclude the day with drinks & bites, providing the chance to continue conversations, reflect on lessons learned, and close the day together.
