Advanced training Valuations, Structuring & Value generation

About this workshop
Throughout an investment cycle, there are different elements for you to consider and act upon to maximize value. In this workshop, PwC will share practical experiences that you can apply for your portfolio companies throughout the typical PE investment cycle. In good times and bad.

This two-part workshop covers:
•    The challenges of determining the value of a portfolio company throughout the investment cycle, taking into account the purpose of the valuation;
•    Key success factors for defining and implementing a value creation plan;
•    Options, best practices, and common pitfalls in a restructuring situation.

Why attend
This workshop gives you the tools to:

  • Improve the quality of valuation assessments throughout the holding period and in preparation for an exit;
  • Strengthen the robustness and effectiveness of your value creation plans through co-creation with portfolio management;
  • Identify the main financial restructuring options that are available to you, or that you as a shareholder may be confronted with, when things don’t go as planned;
  • What to do in a ‘wet homologatie onderhands akkoord’ (WHOA) process and the importance of the various types of valuations in this process.

The workshop will be interactive and active participation by sharing experiences is expected. The workshop will also include a WHOA simulation.
